six.oh.six | UPDATE: next instrumental tape

Soooooooo, I've been doing a lot of planning/over thinking/researching/re-planning/more thinking/killing myself over what I'm going to do with this next project as far as goals for myself and this project. *Clears throat* After a long struggle with my indecisive ass, I finally have a solid foundation of what I'm going to do.

Vires Ultra was supposed to be a sample less mixtape. It had two small samples in it that I felt were necessary for the atmosphere and concept I was projecting. But with the next mixtape, im going to switch that up, its going to be ALL sampling but just VOCAL samples.

As far as an EP is concerned, imma hold off on that for now. Tryna get my clout up namsayin..haha

But ummm, That's all I'm going to tell right now about it. ;)

Vires Ultra is on bandcamp still goin strong, and I'm always on souncloud posting beats check those out. I also just started a tumblr if you're interested in me being boring.

Im working on an instrumental ep at the moment. It will sound completely different than the instrumental mixtape and be bigger and better. None of the instrumentals im putting on soundcloud right now will be on it.

| SIX oh SIX | updates/goals for 2013

It's been a while since I've posted anything on here. I have been having computer problems and been busy working and enjoying my holidays. Thankfully, the computer problems are not an issue anymore because I just bought a new computer.

I wanted a Mac but I couldn't afford it, but I'm getting a lot of bang for my buck considering I'm using this computer solely for music and music only. This is going to be my first block in building a home studio. I was mainly using my laptop and FL Studio to make music before (which if used correctly shouldn't be knocked BTW). It was a real slow process making music.The computer was slow and there was no easy way to check if my mix was right. I always had to go somewhere else to check my mix. NOW the the comp slowness is not a problem, BUT I do need to buy some good studio monitors so mixing won't me as much of a problem for me anymore. This will be the next purchase.

In other news...

 I deleted my SoundCloud, due to the release of the full instrumental tape on BandCamp which you can listen to HERE.

BUT I will be starting a new SoundCloud with regular updates VERY soon. I have some really dope beats to share. They will be updated on this blog as well is there.

I also ALREADY have concepts in mind for the next instrumental tape!! My goal is to put that out and most likely another or two this year.

I am very excited about my goals for this year as far as my music is concerned. Remeber: this blog is a record of the journey.

Heres the full beat of the outro of the tape. The last few songs of the tape are something positive, therefore I decided to have an outro with a beat that builds representing the progress most of us are striving for in life. This tape is just the beginning......

POSITIVE: CONCEPT

This beat ends with a clip from the speech Lil B did at NYU. He started off his presentation with a story. He asked an old man at a gas station what has changed from when he was younger until now an the old man said that attitudes have changed. I believe that we have to continue positive attitudes around negative people and a negative world to better yourself and also keep the next person up. Just because you are in a bad mood doesn't mean you have to show it. Everyone has their own hardships and struggles you can always be positive in the midst of that.
